CGT Goes to Concours d’Elegance of America
To celebrate CGT’s success as a pioneer in the automotive industry, the company participated in the 41st annual Concours d’Elegance of America. The event is a world-class celebration of the automobile as art. In its 41st year, the show has earned a reputation as one of North America’s most important displays of collector cars and a place where car makers also introduce their newest and most critical new models. The term, “Concours d’Elegance, literally means “competition of elegance.”
You may be wondering, what does this show have to do with CGT? Well, CGT has been involved in the automotive industry since cars were first produced in North America, starting with Henry Ford’s Model T.
CGT was thrilled to host our esteemed customer base at our hospitality tent in the center of the show. Our tent showcased an original 1914 Ford Model T, featuring a CGT convertible top, and a 2020 Lincoln Nautilus, in which every luxurious inch is covered with premium CGT material.
We are proud to have supplied the Model T; after all, it was the Model T that put the world on wheels. By also showcasing a 2020 Lincoln Nautilus, we were able to highlight both CGT’s longevity and the advancement of our technology. CGT is one of the few auto suppliers that has been around through the entirety of the industry’s ups and downs. We are proud that our materials continue to contribute to the success of our automotive customers.
The Concours of America showcases the very best of the best. As we continue to celebrate our 150th anniversary, we couldn’t think of a better way to honour CGT’s success than by being there.
As the largest cover stock supplier in North America, we supply virtually every car maker in the world.
