CGT: Moldable Protein
BACKGROUND
• In response to market demand, CGT and its partner have developed a Protein coating designed for Instrument Panel and Door Panel applications.• This new Protein Formulation can be applied to any moldable or cut & sew product we currently make such as PVC composites or fabric-backed materials.
• Initial internal and external (customer) evaluation trials have been successful.
• A TPO Protein system has also been developed and is currently in validation stage.
FEATURES and BENEFITS:
• Soft touch materials across all surfaces including moldable areas.• High U/V xenon resistance.
• High heat resistance (during customer molding process).
• Ultra-low gloss appearance after molding.
